Member and Staff Groups

Across the site, you’ll notice different members with different member groups. Some of these people are staff, others may have a heavy say in what goes on despite not being actual staff. Then there are some for people who have moved on, or those of a particular group in general. This thread will give you a brief overview of the member groups used across the site.

• ADMINISTRATOR
The administrators are your go-to staff members, who do everything and anything across the site. They are the people who give permission for limited character types, the ones who make and modify boards, who produce announcements and updates, and generally know the place inside out and want to help with everything. If you have a question, or need help with something, these are the people you should go to first.

• MODERATOR
These people are the ones you'll want to impress with your biographies, as they are the group that accept characters and keep a close eye on the plotting boards. They are the only group beyond administrators that can accept biographies, so make sure you pay attention if they have an issue that needs to be sorted. While they will primarily be useful if you've got character questions, they're always here to help with general issues too, and can warn members as needed. However more serious issues they will pass up to Administrators.

• FOUNDER
This member group relates to those who were instrumental in the creation of the site, helping out in making things happen, writing board descriptions, preparing threads, making the layout and forming the site as a whole, and generally cheering things on at the very beginning. Without these people CTS wouldn’t exist at all, and in turn they have a heavy say in what goes on across the site, whether they are staff or not.

• LEGACY ACCOUNT
These are unfortunately members who have left use by choice and decided to leave their account here. Or, in some brighter cases, if the member has simply moved to a new account for one reason or another. We mark them so in the future when they show up for quick visits, everyone knows it’s a visitor or old friend returning.

• INACTIVE ACCOUNT
This is the group that members who have not logged in for three consistent checks are placed in, until either the member returns, the account is turned into a legacy account, or deleted

• RESIDENT OLD MEME MAN
These bitter old people come with a sign strapped to their backs. A sign all must take notice of when it is planted.
